Obituary from the Beloit Dailey News January 18, 1919: The remains of Mrs. Charles Ward, 1226 Evergreen avenue, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edward Dieter, of Boaz, Wis., will be brought to this city Wednesday. Mrs. Ward was fifty-eight years old and had lived in Beloit for ten years. She is survived by her husband, by three daughters, Mrs. Francis Dieter and Mrs. Cora Turner, Boaz, Wis., and Miss Hallie Ward, Beloit, and by two sons, John of Beloit, and Grant of Janesville. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon from the home, 1226 Evergreen avenue, with the Rev. Mr. Graf of the Gridley Congregational church officiating. Interment will be in the city cemetery.
