She was the daughter of Melvern and Laura Harris Cook. She married Harold Burton June 21, 1953, and he survives her. Mrs. Burton is also survived by four sons, Kenneth of Fox Lake, Edwin of Berlin, and Jeff and Doug, at home; two daughters, Nancy and Cheryl, at home; her mother, Mrs. Laura Cook of Richland Center; a sister, Mrs. Glen (Faith) Hallett of rural Richland Center; and a brother, Buren Cook of rural Richland Center. Funeral services were Wednesday in the Pratt Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Leon DeGarmo officiating. Burial was in the Richland Center Cemetery.
