Obituary from Richland Democrat 7 October 1948, p. 1 - Walter T. Harris, 74, died Wednesday at the home of his son, Richard, on the West Side. He was born in the town of Marshall and farmed there and near Hillpoint but has been retired many years. His wife, the former Lelia Davis, died Dec. 26, 1915. Surviving are two sons, Homer, Viola, and Richard, city; a brother, Bert, English Ridge, a sister, Mrs. Ed Ward, Marshfiled, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Pratt funeral home with the Rev. G.H. Kintz of Reedsburg officiating, and burial will be in the English Ridge cemetery. Walter Thomas
