Elmer, 75, Watertown, former resident of rural Hillsboro, died Tuesday (Jan. 16, 1962) at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Francis Lee, rural Watertown. Mr. Elmer was a Wesleyan Methodist minister until his retirement 11 years ago because of illness. He last served as a minister in Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Wesleyan Methodist Church, Valton. Surviving are his wife, Rosa; two sons, Clifton, BEloit; and Fred, Stockton, Calif.; fourt other daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Rumppe, West Union, Ia.,; Mrs. Everette Mortimer, Valton; and Mrs. Charles Charp and Mrs. Lee Elmer, both of Beloit; four brothers, Bert, Beloit; Grant, Monroe; and Frank and J.D., both of Baraboo; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Morris, Beloit; Mrs. Mattie Busker, California, and Mrs. Ida Wacker, Darien; 25 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildre; and 26 great-great grandchildren.
