Cook, his wife, at the "Old Homestead" now accupied by Charles Wharton, on Aug. 5th, 1838.

New York State Historical Association, Worcester, Otsego Times Newspaper, 12 Feb 1891; Pg. 1 col3, he died in Chicago, Jan. 21, 1891, where he had been stopping a few weeks attending to business, at the house of a friend. He was with a companion, walking on the street, when he was stricken with apoplexy, and being carried home he soon became unconscious, and remained so until his death, which soon followed.
