9. Ivan L. Cook Obituary, Ivan L. Cook, 72, of Richland Center, died on Friday morning, Dec. 26, 1986, at the Richland Hospital. Mr. Cook was born in Sylvan on Sept. 10, 1914, to Normal Lee and Elizabeth (Walker) Cook. Ivan was a retired farmer and also had driven a school bus for the Richland School District for 22 years. Survivors include three brothers, Darrell of Blue River, Leward of Baraboo, and Leland of Rockford, Ill.; and several nieces and hephews. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29, at the Pratt Memorial Chapel. Larry Girdwood of the Park Street Christian Church officiated, with burial in the Felton Cemetery.
